Praise singing in a full church!

We've said it before, the concert with Ungfila LIVE last year was just so great that we couldn't help not to book them once more. And we don't regret it at all! The result was a new audience record, with about 650 people in the church!!!

The audience started singing and cheering already in the queue outside, so when Ungfila LIVE went on stage the crowd was already warmed up. With the song texts on screens next to the stage, singing along is encouraged, and people were singing loudly right from the start. But with an audience that large and active it quickly gets hot, so the security crew had their hands full getting enough water for the crowd.

Something that is actually very cool about Ungfila LIVE is that they don't have any special stage-show. They jump and rock a little, that's mandatory. But instead they shift the focus to the praise itself and towards God. They're very clear about that the music is to His glory, and the message is all about Jesus. It seems to us that this goes straight home with the audience!

Most of the praise songs are pretty rocked up, with guitar riffs, cool rythms and a lot of power. They also played a few calmer songs in between, but that didn't dampen it too much. They always came back with more of the rocked-up praise songs. At the end we all said the Father's Prayer, and the band ended in style with "All Because Of You".

The crowd once more demonstrated that the trend of the year is to shout for "one more hour". But when people understood that the band would not come back on the stage they started to sing "Navnet Jesus" (The Name Jesus) so loud that it was literally echoing in the room! This is an evening we won't forget ever!!!
