Successful festival start
YES, finally, Oygospel 2006 is a reality, and what a start! Early on the day (and during Wednesday)
our technicians and stage crew are busy preparing sound, light, stage and everything else necessary.
The management, lead by Inger, are also ready to take their fair share of the work.
All of the traditional things are put in place too. The Oygospel Grill, the cafe, and the kiosk was ready
well in time. And the nearby garage was made into a room for silence and prayer.
A little before 6 pm the people started to wander in, and the number of visitors quickly increased! A lot of people had decided to pay us a visit this evening, and everyone was in great mood. Because the sun showed up every now and then, many people crowded together outside for a chat. And some went in to buy a ticket, write in the book "Memories from Oygospel 2006", look at our stand, or the information stand for "The Summer Festival" arranged on Dvergsnestangen later this summer. In the "Gospel Grill" they had a lot to do! The festival visitors was so hungry that we had to run off to shop more hot-dog breads!
Everyone seemed to be happy after the first festival day, and looking forward to more. So do we!
