This is the program for Oygospel 2005, which by the way was a great experience. We still keep this program in our archive to show what typically happens during the Oygospel festival. And it could be a nice help to refresh the memories.....

Friday 26th May
| 20.00 - Concerts | Maren Flotve Birkeland Maren Flotve Birkeland (21) is from Karmoy on the Norwegian west coast. She's well-known from Norwegian Idol, and also got good criticks when she released the pop/rock-album For A Moment in the fall 2005. She also recently released a music video. She's been singing since she was a little girl, and she have a great voice. She's also a singer in the choir Voice of Joy. More info at www.marenfb.no | |
| Grand Lux Grand Lux is a Christian heavy metal band from Kristiansand. They play classic, melodic and powerful heavy metal. They describe themselves as inspired by Dio, Judas Priest and Kiss. Not to forget you can expect a blazing show on the stage! The bands members are Phil Goode (vocal), Kirk Evin (guitar), B. D. Huges (guitar), Ran-Dee (drums) and Zack Rament (bass). Grand Lux has performed on amongst others the Quart-festival, Seaside M&M and Nordic Fest. More info at www.grandlux.net |

| 20.00 - Concerts | Funky Baptized This is a gospel/funk band originating from Storsalen ministery in Oslo. They have 16 singers and musicians from all around the country, who hot to know each other in Oslo. A few of the members write their music, and this colls gor a little variety in what you will hear. The band have performed on a number of festivals and other occassions in Norway, and is going to play on this year's Seaside M&M Festival. More info at www.funkybaptized.com | |
| Keith And The Marzipan Soldiers This is a band from London playing pop/punk-inspired rock. The four gentlemen in the band are Jon Eades (vocal/guitar), Simon Ward-Wilson (guitar), James Lumgair (bass) og Tim Lumgair (drums/vocal). Therir first album was released in 2003, and they're working on the third at the moment. | 16.00 - Concert | Lisa Boerud She needs no further introduction to draw the crowd. Lisa is 9 years old, has released 4 albums and a DVD and she's the kid's favourite artist! She's been touring all over Norway, and loves to be on the stage! This is not the first time Lisa visits Oygospel, we had a great time when she had a concert here two years ago!
