Changes in the management team

Several of last year's management members withdraw. Some others have new tasks, and we've got a few new people as well. Here's an overview of the changes.

Withdrawing from the management:

Richard Torressen has had the task of booking manager since the fall 2004. We're not exaggerating when we claim that without him there would probably not have been any Petra-concert hosted by us.

Nina Lund Feste has been in the management since the fall 2005, first as information manager for one year, then booking manager together with Richard for one year. She's had the main responsibility for booking choirs and speakers, and has done a great job!

Ingrid Klovning has been practical manager and secretary for one year. The practical tasks has been handled flawlessly as usual, and we're almost spoiled with good resumes available shortly after the planning meetings

Gro Anita Martinsen has been catering manager for one year. She came back to the management after taking a break for one year. It's great to have Gro Anita on the team.

Silje Richardsen has also been a catering manager for one year, she also came back after a one-year break. Together with Gro Anita she's been taking care of the food in a great way.

Cathrine Udland has worked as information manager for one year. She's taken lots of pictures, wrote several articles and concert reviews on our website, and put up more posters than we care to count.

Their reasons for withdrawing is the well-known time shortage. Some of them need more time for school and education, others need more time to spend with their family. We want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH to every one of them for the job they've done, everything they've contributed to the festival and the great company they've been for the rest of us in the management.

Old management members with new tasks:

Rune Tonnessen gets the most new to think about. He's taking upon himself the duty of booking manager.

Inger Kristiansen comtinues as festival manager, and takes over the accountance from Anstein

The rest of us continues with what we have done previously: Anstein Norheim (practical manager), Tom Helge Tollefsrud (activity manager), Endre Samuelsen (technical manager) og Magne Sorli (information manager).

New management members:

Rebekka Rudolfsen joins as catering manager. She'll be busy enough, but we're sure she will handle just allright. She won't be alone with this task.

Jorunn Skjekkeland is also joining as catering manager. Rebekka and Jorunn know eachother well, and they work very well together. The food should in other words be in safe hands.

Kirsti Nilsen joins as booking manager together with Rune. She's got a lot of contacts all around the country, so she fits the task nicely.

We would like to give them all a hearty welcome! It's a joy to have you all on the team!
