A meeting to remember!
This was just great! So many came to the meeting that there weren't place for everyone in the main room, thus a lot had to stand in the door. The movie from Karl & Co was a great success. In the last part they retrieve the check and Oygospel is saved! We're so relieved.
After the very entertaining movie it was time for the Credo Choir to enter stage. This is their last concert together, as they're put together of graduate students. And what a concert! Immediately after the dance team KRIK 91:11 had their turn. They did a very energetic and perfectly done performance!
Finally it was time to hand out the Oygospel Award! The price is to honour people who has done much in the Christian youth work and music, and was this year awarded to Else and Jan Egil Norheim! Unfortunately Jan Egil could not come, so Else had to receive it on behalf of both of them. She seemed pretty moved when she said thanks for the award, we would just call it well deserved!
The speaker for the evening was Christoffer Svartdahl. He started with a little contest to illustrate his point. The theme was "knowledge changes", and he told a lot of stories and examples on how things would be different if you knew everything in advance. A great speech which fitted perfectly for the most of us!
The meeting came to an end with Christoffer inviting to prayer and the praise team leading a great praise-session. There was actually a queue of people wishing prayer, so the people who prayed for everyone got their hands full. It was just a wonderful mood in the room, in which we could feel the presence of God! At the very end we we all sang a song.
