Festival kick-off!
Oygospel is at last rolling! True to the tradition the festival started off with a meeting with lots of music and singing. And the Oygospel Movie 2007 was shown after some minor technical issues. This year's movie is about a small tribe of stoneage people, who gets tired of crushing rocks and finally find their way to Oygospel...
The church was almost full, about 300 people participated. First choir to enter the stage was Confess, the youth-choir of Flekkeroy. Then Confessing got to sing, they're a youth-choir from Vennesla and they've cooperated quite a bit with Confess during the last couple years. Both choirs showed true joy when singing, with skilled solists and great bands. This is how choir music is supposed to sound!
Roy Elling Foss had an engaging speech about letting God work in us humans. He could tell stories from his own experiences when he's been meeting other people. At the end of the meeting people was invited to prayer, accompanied by the praise band assembled for the weekend.
