Norwegian

Everyone loves marzipan!

None of them are called Keith, and they have no explanation at all on how they vame up with the name. But Keith And The Marzipan Soldiers has to be the craziest name on a band ever. But marzipan is good, and this is music that gets you going! Modern rock with strong melodies, great groove and some elements from punk is a nice mix. Singer Jon has a great voice, and he plays the guitar with passion also. Tim is a guru on drums, and James shows his amazing energy when he plays the bass. Duncan is their newest member, and it is said he was chosen because he has a similar profile to that of the old guitarist on their T-shirt. But of course he can play, and he's cunning at it too. Unfortunately his guitar had an accident on their flight, but we got him one of the most special guitars in Norway, a BHG Jekyll & Hyde, made by Bob Hartman in Petra, and Bob also used this particular guitar on several of their tours. And Duncan was everything but unpleased with this guitar!

The audience was very pleased with what they saw and heard. This type of rock is a perfect fit for jumping up and down, so we saw a lot of exhausted people after the show. The audience loved the Marzipan Soldiers, and the Marzipan Soldiers loved their audience!

The Marzipan Soldiers are well received when they enter the stage.

Their rock drives you, and is played like it's meant to be!

The audience goes frenzy from the very start.

Jon is in touch with the crowd, and even whips out his camera to take a picture of the fans!

You could envy James his energy when he jumps around with the bass.

Tim enjoys life behind the drumset!

Duncan seems to like the guitar we borrowed for him...

Jumping up and down while clapping hands - what a mood!

The Marzipan Soldiers served two extra songs, and we would love even more...
