A different service
Sunday January 14th John and Bob, earlier members of the popular group Petra, participated in a different service in Flekkeroy church. It’s a long time since there has been so many people in this kind of service. It was people from all ages, the church was so overcrowded, that many had to stand and even the other sanctuary had to be used.
With their own songs and message from their own life, the people got so excited. The people of Flekkeroy got to hear a story about a young girls life. This girl contacted Bob, she told him about her problems in life. This story touched peoples heart. Bob asked everybody to pray for this young lady. And we do know that with prayers it becomes results
Later on in the sevice we got to hear a lot of songs from John and Bob. We also had communion, that took us a long time bacause of all the people.
After the service we had ”brunch” for the those who didn’t have time to eat breakfast and coffe and cakes for those who actually had time to eat. Almost everyone came. We also had a lot of people that helped us with this ”brunch” and we want to thank them. All of us in Oygospel and Flekkeroy ministry thought that this was a good way to get everybody interrested.
This is a service we never forget, and we are looking forward to meet John and Bob again.
