Multi-cultural service

This turned out to be a fantastic service! Ton Angelon from Skudeneshavn was with us today again, and KIA put their own special flavour to this Sunday. The latter is a multi-cultural gospel choir from Kristiansand, they had members from 6 different nations participating today. This was a perfect match with today's message of when the diciples received the Holy Spirit. The texts for today was about the confusion of Babel, and also when the diciples started talking in foreign languages.

The offering goes to KIA's important work of integrating immigrants. Their encouragement was clear, meet people from other countries with a smile and an open mind, that will enrich yourself as well as the ones you meet. Towards the end of the service we held communion, with swinging songs from both choirs. KIA got the honor to sing the postludium while the audience walked out.

During the preludium the choirs marched in, KIA first, then Ton Angelon.

Ton Angelon was the first choir to sing.

As usual they impressed with powerful singing!

KIA sings in Norwegian, English and Spanish!

This crew has great rythm, and sing well-known songs in their own special way

Today's text reader, Christine Udjus, and pastor Nils Ingvar Nilsen
