Funky gospel concert
Gospelsambandet is a choir consisting of singers and musicians from all over southern Norway. The band entered the stage first, followed by the choir who came running in. Then it all started, and they demanstrated how choir music can really rock! With 15 singers all capable of starting a solo carreer and a band with four higly skilled musicians it simply can't go wrong!
The choir started the concert with full power, and the audience was quick to join the fun. Their playlist had good variation with more calmed-down songs spread out between the more upbeat ones. They also read a few texts from The Bible, leaving no doubt about their message. Their director also informed us about their missionary project in Cambodia, to wich most of the income from their record sales go to.
After getting us all to sing along, and receiving a lot of applause they went off the stage while the band was still playing. The crowd didn't have enough of them yet, so they yelled for more. So the choir just had to come back in to sing another one. They ended their show with "Thy Will Be Done", performed as it should be. This is a concert we will remember for a long time!
